MAPS
Once you’ve battled a serious illness like cancer, your life is never the same. We recognize the impact a serious diagnosis can have on you and your life. That’s why we’re here to support all cancer survivors with long-term monitoring and follow-up care.
Learning
Late effects are medical conditions caused by cancer. They may appear months or years after treatment ends. Not all cancers will result in late effects, but for those that do, late effects vary and not all survivors experience them. The most common late effects are:
- Second cancers
- Cardiopulmonary (heart and lung) issues
- Bone problems
- Infertility
The goal of our program is to help you understand the potential for these late effects, and to learn how to stay well after a cancer diagnosis.
